My Little Girl’s Favorite Things

My little girls favorite things

“These are a few of my favorite things…”

If you have ever seen the movie The Sound of Music, then you may the know the song “My Favorite Things”. It has been stuck in my head ever since I had the idea to write this post. But anyways, I thought I would show this fun list of my little one’s favorite things.

When the dog bites
When the bee stings
When I’m feeling sad
I simply remember my favorite things
And then I don’t feel so bad ♪♫♬

Her bunny

My little one has this cute grey stuffed animal that is a bunny. If she could, she would take that thing everywhere with her. She mostly has it in her crib with her. So when it’s bedtime, she cuddles up with her bunny and falls asleep. It’s super sweet. ♥

Shoes

She definitely is a girl. I personally am not obsessed with shoes but she is. Whether it’s my shoes, her shoes or her daddy’s shoes, she is always trying to wear them. Even though I don’t like shoes being worn in the house, it’s super cute whenever she tries to put on daddy’s boots. 🙂

Crayons

She really likes crayons but tends to destroy them. We have coloring and sketchbooks for her to draw on but she would rather peel the paper off the crayons and break them in half. She is just so fascinated by those crayons even though she hasn’t gotten the hang of coloring yet.

Pacifier

This is something I have honestly been trying to get rid of. She only has her pacifier during naps and bedtime but geez does she love asking for it all the time. She calls it a “New-New” I always thought that was a cute name for calling it.

Books

My little one loves whenever I read books to her. We have a nice stack in the house so I let her choose one for me to read to her. Usually, it’s the same book over and over but I don’t mind as long as she enjoys it.

Animals

She really loves animals especially dogs. It’s funny but she is actually intimidated by them as well. She gets excited when she sees one but as soon as it approaches her she kinda freaks out. She calls all dogs “puppies” whether they are old or young. The book I mentioned that she makes me read over and over is a book that has a puppy in it. Sometimes she would want me to skip to the puppy picture. What’s even cuter is that she howls and barks whenever she sees it.

Well, I hope you enjoyed this short and cute list of what my almost 2-year-old daughter likes. Does your child have a favorite toy? If you don’t have children, do you remember your favorite toys when you were little? Let me know in the comment!
