I love the idea of being Eco-friendly and sometimes it can be hard finding items for you and your child that are organic. When looking around for natural items for children, I noticed there was a subscription box that promotes eco-friendly products for mothers and their kids. They are called Ecocentric Mom.
They have a few subscriptions and gift boxes to buy from. There is a box subscription that goes from Pregnancy to Toddler. So the items in this are for the mother and the child. There is another box subscription that is exclusively for mothers.
The one that I have is the Ecocentric Mom Subscription (Pregnancy to Toddler). If you do get this box there is a place where you can put in your child’s age to customize your order.
List of Items in the Box:
- Snack Happens Mini Reusable Snack and Everything Bag by Itzy Ritzy (Set of 2)
- Effortless Art Crayons by Two Sparrows
- Hyland’s 4Kids Oral Pain Relief
- Little Nut Peanut Butter Banana Nut butter Blend
- You Love Veggies Snack
- Herbaland Protein Gummies for Kids
- Dema-E Advanced Peptides and Collagen Serum
Here I will go through the items in the box and show you how much they are for each and what I thought about them.
Snack Happens Mini Reusable Snack and Everything Bag by Itzy Ritzy – $12.99
I am always looking for different little bags to put in my purse to organize my items and this is perfect for it. What I find particularly neat is that it is safe to store food in them. I usually put snacks in a ziplock bag but I will definitely be using this instead. They list different ways you can use this bag and there is a lot.
I’ll list a few below:
- Makeup, jewelry, hostess gifts
- Travel, road trips
- Hiking, camping, and beach gear
- School lunch, litter-free lunches, field trips
- Cellphone, earbuds, and cameras
- Crayons(I like this idea), small toys, art supplies
They also mention that it has a water-resistant interior and is washable. These mini bags are just perfect for mamas.
Effortless Art Crayons by Two Sparrows – $4.99
These crayons are 100% recycled crayons. They are easy to grab for toddlers just like my daughter. She uses them along with her other crayons. I’ve noticed she actually goes for these crayons first. On the package it mentions “Buy a Pack, We Donate a Pack” which I found pretty cool. I love the idea of these recycled crayons.
Hyland’s 4Kids Oral Pain Relief – $9.49
I haven’t had the chance to use this yet but will keep it in my medicine cabinet when needed. I am actually glad to have something like this because I couldn’t find anything that doesn’t require numbing besides Tylenol.
The tablets are quick-dissolving so it’s safe. It mentions that it is made with natural ingredients, free of artificial colors and flavors. It also says that it is free of stimulant side effects which I found interesting. ‘
Little Nut Peanut Butter Banana Nut butter Blend – $1.50 each
My daughter really loves this. I was able to spread this on some bread with jelly making a yummy sandwich for her. She ate it all up. It’s a protein-rich nut butter blend that can be used on the go. Since I was home I decided to just make a sandwich with it.
It has an easy tearable section that cuts at the corner so that it is easy for kids to eat out of. They put the age 6 months and up because it’s recommended to introduce foods that contain peanuts around that age. This is to help reduce the risk of a peanut allergy.
You Love Veggies Snack – about $2.00
This is a pretty cool portable fruit snack. It comes in leather strips that you can peel off and eat. My daughter is in love with them. She pretty much ate them all. All of the ingredients are organic which is a plus.
As you can see above, it has spinach and kale. The additional ingredients include kiwi, pineapple, banana, and mango. They kinda remind me of a healthy version of a fruit roll-up.
Herbaland Protein Dummies for Kids – $2.00
These are fully-plant based formulated gummies that are sugar-free. They have natural and organic ingredients that are free from gluten, soy, dairy, and nut. I will be honest here. My daughter did not like them at all which I think had to do with the flavor and texture.
I tried them myself and did taste the chocolate brownie flavor but the texture was a bit grainy to me unlike a gummy, that is usually smooth. If you can get past that then this would make a great little healthy snack for kids.
Dema-E Advanced Peptides and Collagen Serum – About $9.00
Now this one is for the mamas for sure! This is a vegan peptide and collagen serum for your skin. It addresses deep lines and wrinkles which helps make your complexion younger-looking and smoother.
Here is a list of what it is free of:
- Mineral oil-free
I am actually 26 years old but I have a few lines around my eyes so I will most likely put this to use.
The Ecocentric Mom Box Subscription here is $32.99. When adding all the prices of the items in the box it comes to about $41. So I would say that the box is worth it, especially if you are looking into getting more natural and organic items for you and your child.
